On March 27, 2022, new currency restrictions introduced by the Bank of Russia came into force. According to the new rules, deposits or down payments by residents of the Russian Federation should not exceed 30% of the total commitment for any contracts that apply to: services provided by non-residents, work performed by non-residents, as well as exchange of information and intellectual property by non-residents.
Exceptions: contracts that apply to acquisition of goods required for operation and technical maintenance of vehicles, food supply, and contracts that apply to financial services delivery.
Non-residents – legal entities will not be able to acquire foreign currency in Russia.
Decision by the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia on establishing the amounts of individual monetary transactions for residents and non-residents, dated March 25, 2022.
The Government of the Russian Federation has extended the deadline for advance payments of the income tax until April 28, 2022 (instead of March 28, 2022).

Support for participants in public procurement
Suppliers, vendors, and contractors who are unable to fulfil their obligations due to restrictive measures, will not be included in the Register of Unconscionable Providers which is managed according to the rules established in the Resolution № 1078 of the Government of the Russian Federation dated June 30, 2021.
